Silverette® are made from 925 silver.  Silver is a naturally anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial metal which can help ward off bacteria and infections. 

Silverette®'s unique design fits comfortably over the nipple to help provide relief and comfort to sore nipples and to help heal damaged nipples.

Years of research helped design the rounded peak that fits comfortably over the areala and nipple without compression. It's the only brand in the world with a patent on this design.

925 silver (sterling silver) is the purest form of silver that can be molded into shape. It contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.  Pure silver is malleable so copper is added to be sure the cups can be molded into the anatomical shape.  Silverette® is safe for mom and baby and is nickel free.

Simply express a drop of milk into the cup and place them over your nipple after nursing or pumping using your bra to keep them in place.

Silverette® cups should be washed daily with warm water.  You can also polish your cups by making a paste with baking soda and a bit of water.  Rub the paste over the cups and then rinse with warm water.  Either way, be sure to dry your cups thoroughly to avoid any staining and oxidization.

Silverette® comes in two sizes, regular and XL.  Please see the sizing chart to help determine which cup to choose. 

If you are right on the cusp, choose the XL.  Keep in mind your breasts will grow throughout pregnancy and also when your milk comes in.  If you are buying for a gift and arent sure then choose the XL.

Regardless of size, they will work as intended. The only difference is the comfort factor.  It is only the diameter of the cup that varies.  The height is the same (the space between the nipple and cup).
